Joshua.... Joshua....
What a character he is!
This is Josh's first dental exam.
He was scared to death.
But he came prepared with "puppy",
and we practiced sitting very still with his mouth wide open,
so he was ready!
SO ready, that he sat VERY still
with his mouth WIDE open while the nurse was washing her hands,
and putting the bib on him.
Too funny! And great job, Josh! :)
Josh made some cute signs for teacher appreciation week at Kemper.
I think they turned out super cute!
And the teachers loved them!
Another first for Josh!
He made it through the crazy pouring water
to the top of the slide!!!
YAY JOSH!!!! :)
(He hasn't done it since...) lol
May is always full of programs and concerts....
Here is Trey at the middle school Medieval Fair.
He was part of a live chess game.
Cool.
Skyler's project for the Medieval Fair?
A model of a torture device.
Apparently they used to make these huge wheels that could turn.
Kind of like a spit over a fire.
They would tie a person onto the wheel, facing outward.
Turn the wheel as the person was dragged over some spikes.
Or fire.
It was an option.
Lovely.
And then there's the yearly band festival!
Which I thoroughly enjoy! :)
And the spring Kemper program.
LOVE that too! :)
Mother's Day is always a treat.
I love my breakfast in bed...
and homemade gifts...
But this year,
Larry topped them all.
He taped my kids mouths shut.
And gave them to me.
Happy Mother's Day!!! :D
Okay...
SCARY!
My little baby brother was driving home late one night.
And came over a hill.
To have a sprinkler that had blown onto the highway
ram through his windshield
and almost KILL him.
Seriously.
SCARY!!!!
Let's end May on a happy note...
We were having Jeff and Mirissa and Olivia and Landon over
for dinner one night.
And Josh set up the little kids table
with silverware and napkins...
And this adorable arrangement of flowers attached to
toothpicks in a lego.
Only Josh...
ADORABLE!!!
